Q How much does it cost?

We can only tell you how much your window cleaning will cost once we have seen the property in question.

Q What if we do not want our windows cleaned this month?

We would require at least 24 hours notice in advance. Rounds are managed by computer software and are printed a day in advance of the due date.

Q Do you offer cleaning at any frequency other than 4 weekly?

Our business is based on a regular 4 week rota, however in certain circumstances we can negotiate up to 8 week rota.

Q Will you call the same time every month?

We do try to call on the same day each month, however this is not guaranteed as there are many variables to take into consideration, sickness, extreme weather, holidays etc. But what we can promise is that you would have a very regular and professional window cleaning service all year round. Commercial work will be carried out at all times as contracted.

Q Are you insured?

Yes we are fully insured, up to £2 million public liability.

Q We have leaded windows, can you wash our windows?

Yes, no problem at all.

Q Can you clean our windows if its raining?

If we look at the natural water cycle, we learn that the water evaporates from the surface of lakes, rivers and the sea. Their mineral content is left behind when the water vaporises, which means that when the water condenses and forms clouds, the water is pure.

Its this pure water that falls as rain. but the rain water does not stay pure for long however, because as it falls through the atmosphere, the water molecules bind to and dissolve all the minerals it comes into contact with on its way to the ground.

While this water is no longer pure, it does have a relatively low mineral content. In the UK the total dissolved solids reading of this water is around 14 TDS, we have a limit for our spot free windows cleaning of 9 TDS or lower. (Our own mains supply is around 300 TDS)

When we clean windows with pure water, the water is left to dry naturally on the glass, when the rain comes into contact with this water, it serves to dilute the rain water. If an equal amount of rain water falls on the freshly washed glazing, the TDS reading of that water will then read about 7 TDS within our range for spot free cleaning

Q What are the advantages of the Pure Water System

Using pure water requires no detergent, which is better for the environment and leaves windows cleaner as there is no detergent residue for dirt to cling to.

• Frames and sills are cleaned at the same time as your glass and won’t be damaged by having a ladder leaning on them.
• The Water Fed Pole system means no more ladder holes in your lawn.
• It's better for your privacy as we don’t climb to your upstairs windows.
• Windows inaccessible to ladders, including windows above conservatories, can be cleaned

Q What is a Water Fed Pole System & how does it work?

You may have noticed increasing numbers of window cleaners using a brush on a telescopic pole to clean windows. These are known either as a Reach and Wash, Pure Water, or a Water Fed Pole System (WFP).

Q Do I need to do anything special to prepare for your visit?

Not at all, you don't even need to be at home when we visit. We only ask that windows be shut on the day of our visit and that arrangements are made to allow us access to all windows.
